Back at it Again!
After a 23-year layoff, I am back at it again.
2002 is the inaugural year of “Bulldawg Racing”
I want to take the time to Thank everyone who helped me get started.
I wouldn't have this wonderful hobby, without the support of my Family, so I want to take the time to say Thank You to everyone.
Let me start with my Brother Doug. "Dougie"
When this started out in a conversation Doug was all supportive, confident we could get it done. Then when conversation became reality, he was there 100%. Advising me what to do sharing his experience. Saving me a lot of frustration, time and money. Then Showtime came, due to us living nearly 700 miles apart, we had one week to build the #20 and #59 Kart.
Doug was there leading the way in assembling and setting up the karts, after his normal work day. Obviously exhausted, he was there every night after work to build and set up my and my son's kart.
Just take a moment and notice the paint jobs on the karts.
That is what you can see, but the work of putting them together, and setting them up you don't see.
Doug I want to thank you, it was a hard week for us all to complete the task and then go race Friday and Saturday...
I learned a lot thanks to you.
My Dad. Robert Goins
Always there, supportive and proud to build us some motors. Nearly as proud as I am that we are running the "ROHO Southern Shaker T.E." engines. Competing in the Engine building and haveing some trade experience my Dad assured me he would get us powered up, and yes he did!
Now, look at that trailer. It was a plain black trailer when I showed up at home. Thanks to My Dad and his wife Nita, that thing is Looking good! If you like the Vinyl Work, give me a call. I will get you in touch with them.
Kenny Thompson
Kenny, Supported us constantly with advise and efforts to help us get the karts completed and ready to race. You gave Nick the most invaluable feeling of family when you was the first face he saw after the "roll over."
The secrets that you shared that week obviously made you uncomfortable. I'll never tell.
Oh by the way..."How's that Motor?"

Jake,
Man you have it going on! Your driving skills are to be admired. You should not have been so kind to your uncle, even though you drew a starting position behind me. We both know you had the fastest Kart. When on the track Racing... its on, you should have not let me hold you back.
Your sportsmanship, and conduct on the track is something every driver should note. Your win/loss record speaks for itself. You listen, you are observant; you impressed me when you obviously followed your Dads hand signals at 912.
Stay positive keep your grades up. Racing is in your blood, it shows.
Nita, Suzie, Teresa, Jesse and Karen
The women of GTB Racing,
Thank you for the love, patience and understanding, the time efforts and frustration, everyone put into the beginning of kart racing for my family and me.
Mr. Dale Stetz,
Again started from the conversation to reality, You was always there, and continue to be there.
I am proud to represent you and your Chassis. I look forward to a prosperous future. And greatful to have a new friend.
My Mom, My Wife and My Nanny
I know you all worry.
However through this whole thing all of you remain supportive, with caution.
Every time we go racing, my wife realizes that her new kitchen is going racing. A sacrifice she is not too ecstatic over however she remains supportive, and now... " She wants in on the action!" Hopefully in the near future, we will be adding a #10 Champ Kart to BullDawg racing Team.
Keep posted, she is not afraid of the throttle!
Nanny,
I have to say you are the Coolest Grandma, anyone can be blessed to have. Someone who has had the ability to understand and except all the changes life brings us... I mean... Look at your son... He is a Preacher Now!
Mom,
I know, first at 13 years old I wanted to go faster and win... I didn't tell daddy to put that cam in... But I sure was flying...Literally.
You worried as a mom typically does, I appologize my careers and hobbies come with a little risk, Football, U.S. Marines, Jumping out of planes, Playing Rugby to name a few... but each one of these come with satisfying personal rewards.
But nothing compared to the reward of a Mothers Love!
All my family and friends expressed their love in an individual way. I guess We all do! We want to thank all of you!
